Startups Weekly AI News

September 22 - September 30, 2025

This weekly update shows AI agents are taking over the startup world. Companies building smart computer helpers that can work on their own raised huge amounts of money.

Factory, a company from San Francisco, got $50 million to build AI coding agents that can write computer programs by themselves. These AI helpers already work for big companies like MongoDB and Bayer. The company is now worth about $300 million.

Snowflake, a big data company, launched a new program called "Snowflake for Startups" to help small companies build AI applications. They want to make it easier for startups to create AI agents without worrying about complex computer systems. The program gives startups access to the same powerful AI tools that big companies use.

Other exciting AI agent startups also got funding this week. Juicebox raised $30 million to build AI agents that help companies find job candidates. Instead of just looking for keywords, their AI can understand what makes a good worker. SocialPost.ai got $1 million to create AI agents that write social media posts for small businesses.

Two twin brothers also raised $30 million to let anyone build apps with autonomous AI agents. This means regular people, not just programmers, could soon create their own AI helpers.

Auterion got $130 million for AI-powered drone swarms used by the military. These AI agents can control groups of flying robots that work together.

Investment firms like Sequoia Capital and NEA are putting lots of money into AI agent companies. This shows that smart investors believe AI agents will change how we work and live. The trend is happening worldwide, with companies in Europe and other countries also getting funding for similar ideas.
